Project development and management skill is a growing area in the development industry. A project is defined as “an activity or group of activities with a defined scope, execution timeframe, and an established budget”. The area has become an important tool for social change, a cornerstone of community development in virtually all industries, including healthcare, government, education, and banking. Donor organizations and governments invest billions of dollars annually in project development, implementation and delivery of projects. Knowledge of project development, management, and sustainability is critical when designing a project plan that is intended to be submitted to a funding agency. Most donor organizations use five major phases of project development and management – Initiating, planning and design, execution, monitoring & sustainability, handover &close out – to ensure project completion and to improve productivity.

This seminar will introduce the basic elements of project development and management. It will describe and show step-by-step processes, and techniques will be explained in the various phases of project development and management. Seminar Fees
The course fee is $5,500 for 2 weeks. The seminar fee covers the following: instruction, seminar materials, one brand new laptop computer to take home, administration expenses, field trips, cultural programs and miscellaneous program-related expenses.
